Job Description
UPPRPB has released the official notification for UP Police Sub Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk) and Assistant Sub Inspector (Accounts) Recruitment 2026 with a total of 537 vacancies. Online applications were accepted from 20 December 2025 to 19 January 2026. Selection includes written examination followed by PET, PST, typing/stenography test (as applicable), document verification and medical examination. Candidates must meet the educational and age criteria prescribed in the notification. The written examination for many candidates was held on 2 November 2025 with further stages scheduled subsequently.

Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute; post-specific typing and stenography requirements as prescribed in official notification.
