Job Description

UP Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the official notification for UP Police Computer Operator Grade-A Recruitment 2026. A total of 1,352 vacancies have been announced. Eligible candidates must apply online between 16 December 2025 and 15 January 2026. Selection includes a written examination followed by a typing test, document verification, medical examination and final merit list. The written exam pattern consists of three sections: General Knowledge (50 marks), Mental Aptitude / Reasoning (50 marks), and Computer Science (100 marks). Eligibility includes passing 12th (Intermediate) with Physics and Mathematics, along with an O-Level computer certificate or equivalent diploma in computer/IT/electronics and requisite typing proficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

12th (Intermediate) with Physics & Mathematics from a recognized board; 'O' Level certificate or Diploma in Computer Engineering/IT/Electronics recognized qualification; typing proficiency (English/Hindi) as prescribed by UPPRPB.
